In this page from 'Embellish & Enrich' (Book 20), Jan and Jean translate a sketchbook drawing of fan-shaped bracket fungus, spotted growing on a rotted tree-trunk. The stitched piece uses machine embroidery on water-soluble fabric, integrated with the use of the embellishing machine.
